"Nieuw Leeuwenhorst"

The Nieuw Leeuwenhorst country estate (40 hectares) is located on a beach ridge in Noordwijkerhout, right next to the bulb fields. The stately avenues, Mirror Pond and viewing hill take you back to the time when wealthy ladies and gentlemen strolled around here. In recent years, Zuid-Hollands Landschap has worked hard to bring back the country estate allure to the area. At the same time, we protect the park-like nature in which bats, tawny owls and kingfishers feel at home. You can enjoy it most during a walk. Take your binoculars with you, because behind the bird-watching screen by the large pond you can unabashedly spy on the water birds. The Nieuw Leeuwenhorst country estate is part of the Hollandse Duinen National Park.

For the children there is a nice climbing forest near the car park.
